A gentle self-paced programme for parents with a history of trauma
If you have a history of trauma, you may have noticed that parenting can sometimes bring up feelings and reactions that you didn’t expect.
You might find yourself becoming triggered or overwhelmed during difficult parenting moments, or reacting in ways that you’re not comfortable with and would like to change. You may know, intellectually, how you would like to respond to your child, but find that in the moment your body and nervous system seem to respond in a completely different way.
You may find yourself wondering:
Why on earth did I react like that??! Why couldn’t I stay calm when I knew what I wanted to do?
If this sounds familiar, you are definitely not alone.
The 21-Day Trauma-Informed Parenting Reset was created to help you understand what may be happening underneath these reactions, explore how your own experiences can affect your parenting, and begin to develop different ways of responding.
Why I created the 21-Day Parenting Reset
I know this work not only professionally, but personally. I have my own lived experience of trauma, and I know what it is like to understand something intellectually while your body and nervous system seem to respond in a completely different way.
That is one of the main reasons I created this programme as I wanted to create something that feels less like being given another list of parenting strategies and more like having someone alongside you, helping you understand what is happening, why it may be happening, and what you can begin to do differently.
Who is it for?
This programme is intended for parents who have their own history of trauma and would like to develop a greater understanding of how their experiences may affect their parenting.
It may be particularly helpful if you notice that you sometimes react in ways you would like to change, especially during challenging parenting moments when you feel triggered or overwhelmed.
Over 21 days, you will be guided through short, manageable content, reflections and practical exercises.
You will have the opportunity to:
- explore how your own experiences may influence your parenting
- recognise your triggers and patterns of responding
- understand more about your nervous system and what happens when you feel overwhelmed
- explore practical ways of supporting and regulating your nervous system
- develop greater compassion towards yourself
- practise different ways of responding during difficult parenting moments
- consider how repair and reconnection can happen when things don’t go as planned
There is no expectation that you will do everything perfectly or complete every exercise. The intention is to give you manageable opportunities to learn, reflect and practise at your own pace.
A more personal kind of support
The Reset is delivered through short, pre-recorded sessions where I speak directly to you.
Although the sessions are pre-recorded, I wanted them to feel personal and connecting, almost as though we’re sitting together and having a conversation about what you are experiencing.
This sense of connection is particularly important in trauma work, where isolation, disconnection and shame can sometimes make things feel even harder. My hope is that, even through a pre-recorded session, you feel accompanied, understood and gently supported.
You’ll have 15–20 minute video sessions, with the option to listen to them as audio if that feels more comfortable or accessible for you. Each session also includes practical tools and reflective exercises.
This is not about becoming a perfect parent
The 21-Day Parenting Reset is not about becoming a perfect parent in 21 days, or about never becoming triggered again.
It’s also not about blaming you for the impact your trauma may have had on your parenting, but instead a healthy balance of self-compassion and accountability.
It is about understanding yourself with greater compassion, recognising your patterns, learning how to support your nervous system and beginning to practise different ways of responding.
We are not responsible for what happened to us, but as adults, we can begin to take responsibility for what we do with what happened to us.
That might mean recognising our triggers, taking responsibility when we get things wrong, apologising and repairing when our behaviour has affected someone else, and continuing to learn from those experiences.
Understanding where our behaviour comes from doesn’t mean we’re powerless to change it, and it doesn’t remove our responsibility for how we treat others. When we begin to work with our own wounds, we create possibilities for something different, not only for ourselves, but for our children too.
How does it work?
The programme is delivered online and is completely self-paced.
Across 21 days, you will work through manageable content alongside four 15–20 minute pre-recorded video sessions.
You can watch the sessions or listen to them as audio, depending on what feels most comfortable for you.
The activities are designed to fit into real family life. You don’t need to set aside hours at a time and you can pause or return to the material whenever you need to.
What’s included?
- 21 days of content
- Four 15–20 minute video sessions
- Audio versions of the sessions
- Practical tools
- Reflective exercises
- Small, manageable activities to work through at your own pace
Keeping the programme accessible
I wanted the programme to be as financially accessible as possible.
I recognise that the effects of trauma can have a ripple effect across areas of life, including work, relationships and finances. I didn’t want the cost of accessing support to become another barrier for parents who may already be carrying a lot. I have therefore kept the complete 21-Day Parenting Reset at the cost of £47.
I’ve deliberately kept the price as low as I reasonably can because I believe support around trauma-informed parenting should be accessible to as many parents as possible.
What happens next?
You cannot change what happened to you, but you can begin to change what happens next and often, that is where breaking a generational pattern begins.
£47 for the complete programme, including all 21 days of content, four video sessions, audio access, practical tools and reflective exercises.

A note about looking after yourself
Some of the topics covered may bring up difficult thoughts, feelings or memories. Please take care of yourself as you work through the material and take a break if you need one.
This programme is not a substitute for individual psychological therapy or crisis support. If you feel that you need additional support, please consider speaking with an appropriate healthcare or mental health professional.
